Diabetes mellitus is also called diabetes. It is a metabolic disease caused due to an increased level of blood sugar. The hormone called insulin is responsible for transferring sugar from the blood to your cells to get stored or utilized for generating energy. In the case of diabetes, the body will not be able to produce enough insulin or unable to use insulin in the body.
The untreated sugar level in the body can adversely impact your nerves, kidneys, eyes, and other organs.

Diabetes is divided into different types that include:-

• Type 1 diabetes:- It is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system will destroy or attack the pancreas cells where insulin is developed.
• Type diabetes:- It occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin and blood sugar levels rise.
• Pre-diabetes:- in this case, the blood sugar level is higher than normal but not enough high for diagnosing type 2 diabetes.
• Gestational diabetes:- It is a condition of high blood sugar during pregnancy. Insulin blocking hormones will begin to start producing by the placenta that turns into the type of diabetes.

Manage your diabetes by focusing on some key changes in your daily life

That means it’s a time to join the gym, do yoga or start any activity like walk, swimming, jogging, etc. that helps in dropping down your sugar level. It keeps you active as well as reduces the chances of heart attack and other health issues. Also, it helps in reducing your weight and stress level.

• Stress-free life:- when you take stress your blood sugar level will rise. In this situation, you will not able to manage your diabetes also. Therefore you should never skip your exercise, eat right and take your medicines on time. All these things will help you in managing your stress and sugar level also.

• Say no to smoking:- Diabetes increases the chances of other health problems such as stroke, kidney disease, heart problem, blood vessel disease, etc. If you smoke then it can increase the chances of getting these health problems. You should talk with your doctor to quit such habits.

• Sleep on time:- Good sleep is important for maintaining your overall health. You should sleep at least six to eight hours that help to regenerate and repair your body themselves and make your feel active all day. According to a study, lack of sleep is one of the key reasons for increasing blood pressure and leads to heart issues.

If you are also a diabetes patient then you should consult a doctor and include healthy habits in your routine that help in managing your diabetes.
