While meeting the tight deadlines and being confined to the work desk for long hours, causes a lot of metal and physical stress. We tend to ignore this in the initial stages but with consistent stress and exertion, our health starts to deteriorate. It can cause health problems such as diabetes, heart issues and even cancer.

Fitness might be the first thing popping in your mind. If you are thinking of starting your fitness regime even within the confines of your office then trust us you are on the right track. If you have already planned to stay fit then there is nothing that can stop you. A positive mindset is the most important aspect that one needs to achieve anything.

Take a palms press break
There is no need to even get off our seat to do this exercise. After every two to three hours of continuous working, press your palms against each other with all your strength or to an extent that you can take the pressure. Also, stretch your hands to the front, upwards and even sideways.
Take a stairs break
Leave your desk on a regular basis and hit the stairs even if you are not in the mood of going out. Avoid using escalators or lifts while entering your office in the morning and leaving during evening. It is recommended to take a stairs break at least three to four times a day. Make sure you go up down two to three floors. Do this two to three times in your every stairs break. This is a very good form of exercising and works great for blood sugar levels, heart and lungs health.
Take a squats break
Go to the rest room or gym area in your office and do squats. It is recommended to do at least 10 to 20 repetitions and that would be enough. The correct way of doing squats, is to inhale deeply as you go down and exhale the air as you come up. You can practice this exercise twice a day. After completing it, you can go back to your desk and resume your work.
Try walking instead of driving
If your office is not too far and you can easily cover the distance by walking, then nothing is good than this. Avoid driving and rather walk the distance to your office. Believe it or not, it would be more fun and healthy option for you. If it is not feasible on an everyday basis, bring it into your practice and do this at least two to three times a week.
